Quiz make up

              First of all, I would like to thank our professor for giving us the chance to make up on of our quizzes. Second of all, from all the artist's videos that I watched, I liked the the work of the artist Eleanor Antin because she uses creativity in her work and also uses tragic humor. In addition, she is originally from New York.
               Eleanor Antin is working on her photographic series, in which she compares the U.S as a great colonial power with Rome, which was a colonial power in the past. She thinks that photographic sequence is places in another historical period, it deals with art, and it deals with our present day. She said she is kind of dictator when it comes to making their actors do what she wants. She was fascinated with the sculpture since she used to go to the metropalitan museum. She used to play with papers especially when she was depressed. In addition, she defines her work as inventing history. Eleanor Antin knows how to dance ballet and she used to make fun of the society by that. One of her major artworks is called "100 Boots". In this artwork, she took a shot of 100 boots in different places such as the church, in job, around a street, and below Queens Borough Bridge.
